Lochmueller Group is excited to welcome Cindy Yerkey, PE, RSP2i, as Ohio Regional Leader! Cindy brings more than 28 years of experience in transportation engineering, program management, and highway safety, with a career spanning both consulting and the public sector, including key roles with the Ohio Department of Transportation. She has led complex, multidisciplinary teams, delivered corridor and interchange projects, and supported statewide, data-driven safety initiatives. Her expertise in highway safety, traffic engineering, and transportation planning, combined with her focus on mentoring staff and building high-performing teams, supports practical, high-quality transportation solutions across Ohio and the Midwest.
As Ohio Regional Leader, Cindy will provide leadership and direction across the state with a focus on regional performance, growth, and culture. She will lead business development efforts and serve as a primary representative of the firm, working closely with agencies, partners, and stakeholders to strengthen client relationships, identify opportunities, and guide pursuits. Additionally, Cindy will provide operational oversight, support staffing and team development, and collaborate with leadership to ensure strong project delivery, quality performance, and alignment with Lochmueller’s long-term growth objectives.

A fourth-generation engineer, Cindy brings both deep technical expertise and a people-first leadership approach.
